Blue Lagoon Island

Board the Calypso for a lively, fun-filled day at the famous Blue Lagoon Island. Enjoying miles of white sandy beaches, dancing to an island band, snorkeling or scuba diving, feeding and petting stingrays, and much more. Includes food, unlimited wine, and fruit punch. Departs from Paradise Island at 10:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Returns at 1:30 p.m. 3:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. $35 per person (with tranfers).

Camp Junkanoo at the Radisson Cable Beach

All guests of the resort can enroll their children in Camp Junkanoo, the resort's daily, supervised recreation program. While children make new friends and play with their peers, parents can have some time alone, enjoying the extensive offerings of our resort. Campers may take part in half-day (9:30 a.m. 1:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. 4:30 p.m.) and full-day programs. Children who enroll in Camp Junkanoo are divided into two age groups, 4 to 6 and 7 to 11, so they can participate in age-specific activities. Camp Junkanoo is not only fun; it offers a safe and secure environment where children are properly supervised. The average age of a Child Coordinator is 21, and the ratio of children to Child Coordinator is 6:1. Children are always monitored and kept in a secure area.

Discovery Channel Camp at Atlantis Paradise Island

Become an explorer for a day in this one-of-a-kind camp experience. Sorry, adults, only campers ages 4 to 12 are allowed. Camp facilities include base camp, the center of operations featuring a replica of the Atocha, a Spanish galleon that sank off the Bahamian seas in 1622. The science outpost has live-animal touch tanks and high-powered microscopes. The technology lab has state-of-the-art computers and Internet access. Nature crafts are also offered, where you make your own shark-tooth art and other fun crafts.

Dolphin Encounters

Blue Lagoon Island close encounter: After an educational talk on our deck, wade into waist-deep water for close-up contact with our dolphins. Swim with the dolphins: Spend approximately 30 unforgettable minutes in the water with the most intelligent creatures next to man. Includes the thrilling "Foot Push." Home of Universal Pictures' Flipper. Call for reservations for either of the two programs listed. Time: 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Glass Bottom Boats

Glass-bottom boats depart every hour to the beautiful reefs and sea gardens of Athol Island from Woodes Rodgers Walk, running parallel to Bay Street along the harbor's edge.

Kids Klub

At the Kids Klub, kids age four and up are cared for by specially trained hosts. Supervised daily activities, babysitting, lunch, and prize programs. Day, night, and combination programs available. Reasonable rates.
